In 1959, Dr. Heinrich Hellstern, Director of Swiss NGO HEKS, initiated the establishment of a Technical Training institute in Nettur, Tellicherry, Kerala. This led to the formation of the Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) in 1963. Over the past 65 years, NTTF has grown into a leading institution, receiving technical support and knowledge transfer from Swiss industry and training institutions.
